Amani Records is the umbrella under which a community of “musicianaries” is being raised up to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ in the United States and other nations of the world. Our goals: 1. To Build a Community of Musicianaries We desire to see a small army of music ministers join together that are committed to community and not competition; to building the kingdom and not careers; serving the local church and not the industry. 2. To Mentor and Encourage Artists Called to Music Ministry Through relationship with the Amani Records community, our artists develop mutually encouraging relationships with peers and mentors to grow in faith and ministry. The logo for Amani Records is an image connecting two crosses: Christ’s cross (Jn.3:14-16) and our cross (Matt.16:24). We desire to see young artists embrace both Christ’s cross, representing God’s transforming love and saving grace, and our cross, representing sanctification and discipleship. The four values that we expect each of our artists to embrace are: 1) Local church, 2) Discipleship, 3) Scriptures, and 4) World Evangelism. 3. To Create and Distribute Anointed and Excellent Albums We work with artists to create albums that have the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the excellence of quality musicianship and studio engineering. The rallying point for our record label is not one particular genre of music, but is the message. The focus of our music is worship and evangelism. 4. To Partner with Missions Organizations We work with humanitarian and missions organizations that are impacting the nations by partnering them with our artists for international ministry, and vision-casting and fund-raising in the U.S. |
