Derek Joseph |

When serving as a missionary for a year to Tanzania, East Africa, Derek had an encounter with the Lord that would shape the rest of his life. Nearly dying of malaria, and impacted by the reality of poverty and spiritually suffering people, Derek said, “Here I am. Send me!” Every dream, every hope, every goal, every desire was now laid at the feet of Jesus, the One who gave everything for him. Having led worship since he was 14-years-old, Derek returned to the United States knowing he was called to do nothing else but to use his music to reach his generation for Christ. In 1995, Derek and his wife Heidi Jo launched out into full-time music ministry, reaching churches and college campuses across the northeast United States. In 1998, Derek and Heidi Jo founded Isaiah Six, a band that uses worship concerts to reach youth in the northeast United States. Since 1998, Derek and Isaiah Six have gone to twelve nations, seen thousands come to Christ, thousands of young believers encouraged to worship God with their lives, and many more answer the call to reach the world. Derek has been very open with the public about his journey through the valley of burnout, depression, and anxiety that sent him into a 15-month wilderness in 2001-2002, including nearly six months out of the ministry. The result was a grace conversion that became the foundation of his entire ministry future. Derek still travels with his band Isaiah Six doing worship concerts, but recently launched his solo career to impart the heart of David, equipping believers to become true worshipers by discovering God’s grace.... |

Brad Kahler |

"Real. Honest. Devoted. It doesn't take long when listening to Brad's music to realize that not only is he satisfied with Christ, but that God is using him to draw others to the same place. With a passion to reach today's youth, he is convinced that if someone will experience true worship in God's presence, they can be mended, strengthened, and rescued, there beginning a life of unhindered devotion to the Lord. A native of Baltimore, MD, Brad has been leading worship and writing music since he was 16-years-old. He attended Elim Bible Institute (Rochester, NY) from 2004-2007 with a focus on music ministry. While there, he had his first recording experience, a student-led project featuring many of Brad's songs and live worship leading. Signed by Amani Records in 2008, he is recording his debut CD, due to be out by the fall. Brad's wife Erin is also a musician and ministers alongside her husband. Together they live in Lima, NY, where they attend and serve the worship ministry of Elim Gospel Church."

Heidi Jo |
|
Heidi Jo has served alongside her husband, Derek Joseph,
for the twelve years they have been married. A Crane School of Music grad,
speaker, singer, and songwriter, she has co-produced and performed on
several Isaiah Six albums, and in early 2005, released her debut album on
Amani Records, The Way Home. Heidi Jo's music has a way of softening the heart, and calling you back to intimacy with the Father. Writing her way through several years of walking through fiery trials, and experiencing a personal revival, her songs became like her journal. The result is this incredible new album called Not Just Songs, an obvious testament to the amazing grace of God, and His profound ability to transform our worship into something that is Not Just Songs. This is Heidi Jo's second album with Amani Records, a fitting sophomore project following her 2005 release. |

Gracie |
|
Ten-year-old Gracie is the daughter of artists Derek Joseph (the lead singer of Isaiah Six) and Heidi Jo. She has loved Jesus and enjoyed singing as long as she can remember! For years, she’s traveled all over the United States with her father’s band Isaiah Six, selling bracelets and necklaces along with her sisters through their business “Love the Nations Jewelry” to raise money for missions. Now, with a call to be used by God at a young age, Gracie recorded her first two singles in 2008. She’s already been sharing her music on the road with her father and mother. She also co-wrote a song with her father called “Always” that has been used in children’s camps and ministries. She’s been to Guatemala, and for the first time is traveling to Uganda in August of 2008. |

| I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and life everlasting.
